PROCESS
Working with me at Nothing But Drama is a three-component process of research, planning and development. (For high school students, the process should commence in Junior fall or Junior spring.)
Here’s what we’ll do together:
Get to know your desired programs and schools. Go deep. Read. Learn. Visit. We’ll discuss what you discover.
Sort it all out. What are the dates, deadlines, requirements, guidelines and materials to gather for each school’s application and artistic review processes?
Develop your art. Whether through your work on monologues, songs, a director’s notebook for theater, or portfolios for film, dramatic writing and theatrical production & design programs, we will help them get to know you.
Develop your voice. Share yourself through the Common App essay, school supplemental essays, activities lists and artist statements. Create a multi-faceted presentation of the artist, student and person you are!

PRIMARY PACKAGES
ARTISTIC REVIEW SUPPORT
This package is based on a structure of regular meetings over a period of six months leading up to the artistic review season in senior fall. Meetings can be booked in 30- or 60-minute appointments. Time billed includes face-to-face meetings, as well as research and review of artistic materials by the consultant. The package is capped at 12 hours of time during the current application cycle only. In most cases, these parameters easily cover the work to be done. If a student needs more time, they can continue on an hourly basis, billed at the package rate. Unused time is non-transferable and will not be refunded or extended. The scheduling link will remain live until May 1 of senior year.
For high school students, this means working from spring junior year through the end of the summer or early fall with the goal to be ready for artistic pre-screen submission deadlines in September/October and Early Decision artistic reviews in November. All written material should be completed by December 1. Much of the work — in terms of research and rehearsal — will be done on their own. Our meetings will be used to synthesize the findings of their research, organize the dates and deadlines, and move them forward on the development of their artistic material for their auditions or portfolios. The package is designed to keep the student on track throughout this process. Preparation is key. It is highly recommended that they begin this process well before fall of their senior year.
For transfer and graduate students, this package can begin at anytime prior to your artistic review season. (Transfer students, be aware that some application deadlines are similar to those for freshpeople, while some are later in the academic year.)
add APPLICATION SUPPORT
If your student needs support with their applications as well, you can add the APPLICATION SUPPORT package to the ARTISTIC REVIEW SUPPORT package.

Additional applications will incur additional fees. The package is capped at 20 hours of time during the current application cycle only. Unused time is non-transferable and will not be refunded or extended. The scheduling link will remain live until May 1 of senior year.
